Graphenest’s method is based on a top-down approach, namely on a liquid-phase exfoliation, where natural graphite from 14 different sources is teared-down to graphene nanoplatelets.


2. I am not interested in neither using ethanol-water or propanone-water dispersions! Can you exfoliate graphite it with other solvents?

3. I am not interested in the graphene flake-size range you are providing! Can you produce higher or smaller graphene flake-sizes?


Yes. Among the 14 graphite sources that Graphenest exfoliates to get graphene there are ones with smaller and bigger flake-sizes. Graphenest can also try to fulfill a specific graphene flake-size even if it does momentarily unavailable.


4. I saw that you have graphene powder. How much can you provide?


Graphenest can provide around 70 gram per day of multi-layer graphene.


5. Can you funcionalize the graphene you are producing?


Yes. Graphenest can functionalize graphene. Typically, Graphenest does it to improve adhesion of its developed conductive inks or to compatibilize graphene powder with a specific polymer. Graphenest can do it according to specific needs also.


6. Do you have graphene oxide?

No. Not yet. Graphenest is about to start a new method to increase the degree of oxidation on graphene. This will be important to have an higher number of oxygen atoms, usually used as docking station for the functionalization of graphene.

 

7. Can your graphene nanoplatelets be mixed and used to make other products?

Yes. But it depends, of course, of the chemistry involved. Please, be aware of this, always following the technical and safety recommendations provided on the TDS and MSDS. Ask for help and Graphenest will be glad to offer it.
